Ataraxia - Olive is a renovated traditional stone farm building of 70m2 interior space, just five hundred metres down an earthen track to the magnificent Saravari Beach. .The house has been fully renovated to the highest quality in traditional style by excellent local stonemasons and masters. We are very proud that nearly all the fittings and furniture were made by local craftsmen. We have combined traditional style with all modern comforts. Inside the house is a large living-kitchen area, and two large bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, and walk-through closet. All the rooms have large glass sliding doors (with fly screens and electric shutters) that open onto the courtyard. At the front of the house is a walled garden enclosing a private parking place, while at the rear is a shaded private courtyard. with a dining area, and comfortable lounge chairs.

Saravari Beach is one of the very best of the many beaches on Limnos. It is in north eastern Limnos between the two major archaeological sites of Ifaestos and Kaveria, near to the village of Kontopouli. Five minutes walk from the house, on the beach, is the friendly taverna 'Saravar' providing some of the best food served on the island. They have sun beds, and a quiet family atmosphere. We will gladly help you discover the many other fine beaches and excellent tavernas of Limnos during your stay. Also on the beach is a small wind surf school. Siroko Wind Club. Keros Beach, famous for Kite Surf is just ten minutes away by car. We have two VTT bikes that you can borrow, and also a horse and donkeys, as well as dogs, that you can take for walks if you wish. We can organise car hire or motorbike hire for you, and are here to help in any way we can.

You will need a car or motorbike to be able to visit all of Limnos. If you want to spend your time simply between the beach and the house then you can dispense with a car.
